This is an exciting time for the Sports Arena and our partners. W e have taken steps to position the Sports Arena as a top regional facility that provides the widest range of premium entertainment to over 800,000 people each year. According to Amusement Business/Billboard Magazine the San Diego Sports Arena was rated the “# 5 Facility in the Nation for Venues with 10,001 to 15,000 seats” in 2003, and # 2 in 2002, which we take much pride in.

The Sports Arena is the ideal multi-purpose facility. Centrally located off of the 8 West Freeway and the 5 South Freeway, people from all over San Diego County can easily access the Sports Arena. Our new marquee sign has been resigned and technologically updated and is now glowing on Sports Arena Blvd. Approximately 32,000 cars drive by the Sports Arena daily, based on City of San Diego records, meaning that this new sign is crucial in keeping the public informed on what is new and upcoming at the Sports Arena. This highly visible sign will be seen by some 10 million commuters annually!

Kobey's Swap Meet at the Sports Arena is San Diego's largest outdoor market and the third largest on the West Coast, drawing 30,000 shoppers and more than 1,000 sellers weekly. Kobey's attracts a large and diverse audience of approximately 1.2 million people per year.
