Torrey Pines Golf Course:
Throughout June, July and August 2008 it is expected the availability of Torrey Pines tee times in the 90 Day Advance Reservation System will be extremely limited for Non-Resident Golfers due to the closure of Torrey Pines NORTH Course until Sep 1st. This closure will eliminate 50% of the tee times. The remaining 50% of tee times on Torrey Pines SOUTH will be significantly reduced due to:
- The (10) foursomes per day allocated to the two hotels adjacent to the course(The Lodge at Torrey Pines & The Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines)
- Corporate Tournaments booked by The Lodge at Torrey Pines & The Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines as well as the additional Tournaments booked by other businesses, associations and groups directly with Torrey Pines Golf Course.
- A San Diego City Council mandate that 70% of all tee times at Torrey Pines Golf Course be allocated to San Diego CITY Resident Golfers. (San Diego COUNTY Residents do not qualify for reduced green fees or access to this 70% allocation)
Twin Oaks Golf Club :
This Ted Robinson design is nestled in the Twin Oaks Valley in North County and plays beside protected wildlife habitat. Water frequently comes into play on many holes.
