The nation' s first non-profit Information Center for seniors and travelers with disabilities, Accessible San Diego was founded in 1988 and has, for the past sixteen years, been the foremost information center for visitors and the local hospitality community.
Accessible San Diego provides valuable resources for the traveler with a disability via its information center, the "Access in San Diego" guide and through its hotline telephone and web site, http://www.accessandiego.org .
The organization also offers the hospitality community ADA (Americans with Disabilities ACT) and state of California CCR Title 24 on-site accessibility evaluations.
Materials produced by Accessible San Diego are available in alternative formats.
The services of Accessible San Diego are made possible by private/public partnership funding from the Port of San Diego, City of San Diego, County of San Diego, business sponsorships and private donations as well as the generous efforts of countless volunteers.
